International Women’s Day : Documentary & Discussion
March 8 is International Women’s Day, commemorated annually to celebrate the achievements of women and reflect on areas in which women around the world are still systemically disadvantaged.
The United Nations’ theme for 2014 is: ‘Equality for women is progress for all’.
In honour of International Women’s Day, Noor presents a screening of Rafea: Solar Mama, followed by a discussion with Professor Ananya Mukherjee-Reed.
