Please join us for our *virtual Eid service on Friday July 31, Insh’Allah .

Program

9:15 a.m.  | Dhikr & takbeer commences
9:25 a.m.  | Greetings from Noor President, Samira Kanji
9:30 a.m.  | Leading of Eid salat, and Eid khutba by Imam Yasin Dwyer (live from Hamilton, ON)
10:15 a.m.| Program end (approx.)

Imam Yasin Dwyer is the Executive Director of Muslim Chaplaincy of Toronto, which provides pastoral services to students and staff at the University of Toronto and Ryerson University; he regularly lectures on religion and the arts, Black Canadian culture, and the history of Muslims in the West.  He has been a contributor to the jumaa and other educational programming at Noor.

    NOTE: Noor Cultural Centre no longer maintains a physical location

    Its 123 Wynford Drive location was sold in October 2021 after 18 months of continuous lockdown for COVID-19. Since March 2020, all Noor programming has been virtual, and is planned to continue thus, insh'Allah.
