In June 2010, the G8 and G20 summits will be held in Canada. A corresponding summit of global interfaith leaders will encourage the G8/G20 to fulfill their commitment to the Millennium Development Goals, this year emphasizing poverty reduction, environmental sustainability, and peace-building. Faith communities around the world share these objectives. This dinner, co-hosted by Noor Cultural Centre and the Salvation Army Canada, is an opportunity for us all to speak with one voice on these issues to our elected representatives.
