Spirituality Study Session with Dr. Timothy Gianotti

Location: Upper classroom, Noor Cultural Centre

Dr. Timothy Gianotti (2008-2009 Noor Fellow in Islamic Studies, York University) hosts this monthly open study session devoted to traditional texts of spiritual formation and sacred knowledge. While the texts and topics will come from the Islamic spiritual tradition, people from all faiths are invited to participate and stay for the Friday (jum’ah) prayer service which begins at 1:20 pm.

    NOTE: Noor Cultural Centre no longer maintains a physical location

    Its 123 Wynford Drive location was sold in October 2021 after 18 months of continuous lockdown for COVID-19. Since March 2020, all Noor programming has been virtual, and is planned to continue thus, insh'Allah.
