A Beginner’s Guide to Urban Farming

This workshop, led by Kathleen Ko of “Young Urban Farmers“*, will teach participants the basics of farming in the city.  It will cover a range of topics, including, different types of edible gardens, popular plants for growing in the city, soil management, pest control and more.

Following the workshop will be a potluck.  Out of a desire to reduce the negative social impact of our consumption, please try to restrict ingredients to local, organic, fair trade and vegetarian/vegan as much as possible.
