Social Enterprise and Housing
This presentation by Michel Labbé will discuss the emerging sector of social enterprise – businesses with the primary objective of advancing social goals as opposed to profit.
Michel Labbé is President of Options for Homes (with offshoot enterprises Options for Cars and Options for Green Energy)the non-profit corporation named as an Affordable Housing Champion by the City of Toroto (2010) and listed as one of Tide Canada’s Top 10 Social Enterprises (2007). Michel is an Urban and Regional Planning Graduate from the University of Waterloo and has been involved in the production of affordable housing for the past 33 years.
