Father Paolo Dall’Oglio first went from Italy to Syria to study Arabic in the 1980s. He has come to be well known among Syrians for his work on dialogue and understanding between Muslims and Christians. Father Paolo rebuilt Mar Musa Monastery near Damascus; today, it attracts visitors from all over Syria and the world, and stands as a physical and spiritual meeting point between Christians and Muslims. With the worsening situation in Syria, Father Paolo was expelled by the government.

    Its 123 Wynford Drive location was sold in October 2021 after 18 months of continuous lockdown for COVID-19. Since March 2020, all Noor programming has been virtual, and is planned to continue thus, insh'Allah.
