Interfaith Trip: Aga Khan Museum

Noor Cultural Centre is a member of the Neighbourhood Interfaith Group, which is organizing a visit to the Aga Khan Museum on Wednesday October 28.

The visit will be followed by a reception with refreshments at Noor.

The Aga Khan Museum is located at 77 Wynford Drive, just a short walk from Noor Cultural Centre. Participants will convene at Noor at 5:30 pm, and return there at the end of the tour for the reception.

Museum admission: General admission for this visit is free.

A tour is not necessary as the exhibits are designed to facilitate independent browsing.  For those interested in one, however, please note the following information (which amends earlier advice):

For our day and time, there is one public gallery tour at 6.30pm, for a maximum of 20 persons.  Tickets are sold on the same day,  on a first-come basis. Price: $10 per adult and $5 for Seniors and Students.  Participants will purchase their own tickets on arrival at the museum.

    Its 123 Wynford Drive location was sold in October 2021 after 18 months of continuous lockdown for COVID-19. Since March 2020, all Noor programming has been virtual, and is planned to continue thus, insh'Allah.
