This information session will give attendees an overview of the Alberta tar sands – including, its history, extraction techniques, and environmental usage. The purpose is to present facts about an issue that is hotly discussed by politicians, environmentalists, and business interest groups.

John Weston has 35 years of experience in the engineering, procurement, and construction industry as a senior process engineer and department manager in the oil and associated industries.
