The Prophet Muhammad’s Birthday & Islamic History/Heritage Month
The birthday of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is marked between 12th and 17th Rabbi’ al-Awwal, corresponding to October 29 -November 3 2020 for 1442AH.
October is also Islamic History Month Canada (since 2007), and Islamic Heritage Month in Ontario (since 2016).
Due to covid-19 precautions and restrictions, Noor remains closed to in-person gatherings, affecting our customary commemorative programming for these important occasions. However, there are many wonderful resources relating to both, directly accessible online from the safety of your own homes.
