Winter Wear Clothing Drive

Noor is collecting gently-used/new winter wear for New Circles – a Toronto-based charity dedicated to providing basic necessities to those living in poverty.   According to the organization, demand for winter-appropriate clothing is currently five times greater than supply – meaning that they have had to turn away clients without winter gear.

The organization is asking specifically for the following items:
-Adult winter coats (particularly plus sizes)
-Children’s winter jackets, snow pants, and snow suits
-Adult and children’s winter boots
-Adult and children’s winter accessories (i.e. hats, mitts, gloves, scarves)

To participate – 

Drop new/gently-used items from the above list to the collection box in the lobby of Noor Cultural Centre, anytime during the following dates/times:

• Mondays November 20, 27; December 4 : 10 am – 3 pm
• Tuesdays November 21, 28; December 5 : 10 am – 3 pm
• Thursday November 30: 6 – 8 pm
• Fridays (day) November 17, 24; December 1, 8 : 10 am-3 pm
• Friday (evening) December 8: 6 – 9 pm
• Saturday December 2: 6-9 pm
• Sundays November 19; December 3: 10 am – 1 pm
