Rick Salutin is a Canadian novelist, playwright, journalist and social commentator. He was previously a regular columnist for the Globe & Mail, and since 2011, has had a weekly column in the Toronto Star. He currently teaches a half course on Canadian media and culture at the University of Toronto, and is a contributing editor at ‘This Magazine’.
