Important Films & Filmmakers from Post-Revolution Iran

Iranian Cinema is celebrated worldwide, known for its use of innovative techniques, and its deep engagement with social and political issues. This series showcases some of the most renowned films by the most distinguished filmmakers to come out of post-revolution Iran.  
Each screening will be followed by a discussion, led by an expert.

This series is curated by Daniel Davidson-Kalmar, who holds a Master’s Degree in Cinema Studies from the University of Toronto. Within his general interest in international film, he has a particular passion for Iranian cinema.
