Haroon Siddiqui is a columnist and editorial page editor emeritus for the Toronto Star, and author of the 2008 book ‘Being Muslim‘. He is a past president of PEN Canada, Chair of International PEN’s Writers-in-Exile Network, and sits on various boards. He has been awarded numerous distinctions for his work, including the Order of Ontario, the Order of Canada, and an honorary Doctor of Letters from York University.
